My name is Maci Whitby and I am a natural light photographer based in Eastern Washington
I have had the absolute pleasure of living in so many places across the country and have finally settled down near where I was raised. Growing up a farm kid, teachiing my kids the importance of hard work and
Photography is something I have always valued, starting from the days of begging my parents for a point and shoot camera. Before camera phones, I took my cute little pink camera everywhere I went, capturing every last memory I could store on my 10 GIG memory card. Although I have certainly upgraded my equiptment since then, the importance remains the same. Now that I have my own little family with children growing like weeds, freezing time has become of the utmost important. Life get so crazy with scheudules and every day demands, we can forget how to appreciate the stage we are currently in. Just like every human experience, there is so much heartache and joy, and I am here to capture that and everything in between. You only regret the pictures you dont take.
Sports are my life. Don't get me wrong, I love being creative and the art behind photography, but when asked about my passion, I will say sports. Growing up on a farm with 5 other siblings, things were competitive, always. How else were my parents supposed to channel the energy of 6 crazy kids? As I've become an adult, I have learned that I love traveling and meeting new people!
Being in the outdoors and capturing adventures has become my absolute favorite thing to do-with pickleball as a close second. Watching my children discover new things every day is the most beautiful thing I have experienced in this lifetime, and I cannot wait to do more and more with them,

I've been loving this photography adventure and absolutely adore EVERY.SINGLE. ONE Of my clients. In fact, if by the end of my sessions we arent friends I definitely feel like I have failed. Making each session unique and special is my favorite part of capturing moments. It really and truly brings me so much joy seeing families laugh, couples that are in love, and seniors so ready for their new adventure. My husband makes fun of me because when I edit I cannot take the cheeseball smile off my face...and listening to music when I edit...I CRY. I 100% believe that what I do with my camera matters. It matters because moments cannot be relived, moments cannot be replicated, moments are kept in our hearts forever. Moments are what I strive to capture.
Meeting new people and making art with them is my favorite thing to do!
